Lucky to have Fire Departments - 8/2/2006

Dear Editor,
We would like to thank the Havana City Fire Department and the Havana Rural Fire Department for responding so quickly and doing a great job at the fire that we had at our house on July 29th at around 3:30 pm.

John had the fire out when the fire departments arrived but they still came and checked to make sure all the fire was out. They cleared all the smoke out of our house and made sure everyone was ok.

We are also grateful to the Mason District Hospital ambulance service for being there and checking everyone out. We also appreciated Pastor Bill Liebmann being there and offering assistance.

All these people deserve a lot of praise. A lot of people take for granted the many things they do. Thank God for all these people.
